How to sign out from windows live mail Account?

Microsoft provides many mail services like Skype, Outlook, Hotmail and Windows live mail, but all the mail services have same server and database. So, access all the account from the same server. You can login to anyone account using an Email address. Windows live mail service is a good email service. You can access it from your account.

But sometimes, we face some problems like- sign out. It is not a big issue in the mail account but it can waste your time. If you are the user of Windows live mail service, we are providing some effective solution to you by using this; you can easily log in and log out from your mail account.

There are some ways to log-out from your account.


1.         A general method to sign-out.
2.         From account settings.

Method1. Every person is using this method to log-out from the mail account.

In this method, you can search your sign-out button first and click to sign-out the mail account.

Step1. First, you have to login in your account.

  • You can login in your mail account using the Sign-in button.
  • First, click on the sign-in button, and enter your email address in the given box.
  • Now enter the password in the password box and click on the sign inbutton.


Step2. Now, your home page of Windows lives looking like this.

  • Click on the profile picture of your account. After clicking, it will show amenu list in which some links are available, you can choose to Sign out link same as given in below picture.
  • Click on the sign-out link to come out from your account.


Method2. Sign-out creating a problem- In this method, you can visit in your settings of your mail account. Because if your some settings problem, you can’t logout from your account. Now, you have to follow some instructions which are-

1.         Open Windows Live Mail account.
2.         Click on the Accounts Tab, it will show some options.
3.         Now, click on the Servers tab, for further process. 
4.         Search Remember password check box. If it is checked, pleaseuncheck it.
5.         Now, you can easily sign-out from your windows live mail.

Method3. Delete cookies and Browser history- If your browser saves your Email address and Password, you can’t logout properly. If you want logout permanently, you have to delete all the history and cookies of your browser. If you are a user of Google chrome, you can follow this path given in below.

Click on Gear icon -> settings -> Advance -> Clear browsing data -> Clear data.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox-

Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Show Cookies -> Clear all.

In Internet Explorer-

Right click on Internet Explorer icon -> Properties -> General Tab -> Delete Cookies.
